District 60’s Family and Community Engagement (FACE) department will be hosting an informational meeting later this month, where parents will have an opportunity to learn more about the department's plans for the school year, as well as join one of its various parent volunteer groups.

The meeting will take place Thursday, November 16, at 6 p.m. at Whittier Elementary School. During the meeting, representatives from FACE will be on hand to discuss the purpose of the department, the department's goals for the school year, upcoming events, and more. 

Additionally, families will have the opportunity to learn more about the DIstrict's Black Parent Network (BPN), D60 Dogs (Dads of Great Students) as well as the Families Reinventing and Inspiring Education in D60 (F.R.I.E.N.D.S) volunteer groups, including how to join each group and upcoming meeting information.

El departamento de Participación Familiar y Comunitaria del Distrito 60  (FACE) organizará una reunión informativa a finales de este mes, donde los padres tendrán la oportunidad de aprender más sobre los planes del departamento para el año escolar, así como unirse a uno de sus varios grupos de padres voluntarios.

La reunión tendrá lugar el jueves 16 de noviembre a las 6:00 p.m. en la escuela Elemental Whittier. Durante la reunión, representantes de FACE estarán disponibles para hablar del propósito del departamento, las metas del departamento para el año escolar, los próximos eventos y más.

Durante la reunión, las familias tendrán la oportunidad de aprender más sobre la Red de Padres Negros (BPN) del Distrito, D60 Dogs (Papás de Grandes Estudiantes), así como los grupos de voluntarios Familias Reinventando e Inspirando la Educación en D60 (F.R.I.E.N.D.S), incluyendo cómo únirse a cada grupo e información sobre las próximas reuniones.
