Dear Parents/Guardians,

Registration is now open for students who will be returning to Waukegan Public Schools for the 2024-2025 school year.

All returning students will once again be registered through our Parent Portal. Students going to 6th grade will need to provide two (2) current proofs of address.

Two of the following could be used:

  • Mortgage Papers - Must provide document showing possession of property—not closing date.

  • Gas Bill - must be current (within 2 months), service address must be in parent's/guardian's name

  • Electric Bill - must be current (within 2 months), service address must be in parent's/guardian's name

  • Water Bill - must be current (within 3 months), service address must be in parent's/guardian's name

  • Illinois Driver's License or State Identification Card - Card must be current and in Parent/Guardian's

If you need your credentials please email us at [email protected] with your student's name, student's date of birth, and your current address.

We are excited to announce that the registration is more mobile-friendly this year, allowing parents to more easily register using a cell phone. Once logged in, parents can click the “More” tab from the menu bar, to begin the registration process.

Additional registration information can be found on our Returning Student Registration page on our website.

The last day to register online will be April 30, 2024.

New Dismissal Procedures beginning 1-5-2023

Please make sure that anyone that is picking up your child is made aware of these new procedures.

**Dismissal is at 3:48. Please be on time.

**Walkers will be dismissed through Door 13. (a walker is a student who walks home, OR whose grown ups park their car and DO NOT use the pick up line.)

**Car pick ups come through the pick up line.

** Bus is as usual

Please also be reminded that per the Little Fort Parent Handbook, if you are making a change to your child’s dismissal, you MUST contact the office before 3P.M. If you choose to contact the teacher, you must also contact the office so that there is clear communication with the office and the dismissal team, as teachers teach until 3:48.
