Waukegan Community Unit School District # 60 was recognized last week with two communication awards as part of the Illinois Chapter National School Public Relations Association’s annual Communications Contest. 

The District was recognized with two awards in the video category. The highest honor earned by the District was an Award of Excellence for a Spotlight on 60 video which highlighted our Outreach Department’s weekly Attendance Belt initiative.

Additionally, the district earned an Award of Merit in recognition of the District's weekly 60 in Sixty video series, which highlights news and events occurring in Waukegan Public Schools.
