Waukegan Community Unit School District # 60 will host a Job Fair on Saturday, May 6, where community members will have an opportunity to explore the various employment opportunities available in the District.

At the Fair, which runs from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Miguel Juarez Middle School, attendees can learn more about a wide range of positions within Waukegan Public Schools. Staff representing District departments and school buildings will be on hand to answer questions about positions, as well as their experiences working in buildings.

While the district is always seeking qualified and certified teachers and substitutes, job openings beyond the classroom, such as paraprofessionals, classroom assistants, secretarial staff, safety staff, custodial staff, and more will also be available. Starting requirements for many of these positions only require a high school diploma or diploma equivalent.
