District 60 will host its next Family Institute Facebook Live event next Thursday, September 8. The event will begin at 6 p.m. on the District's Facebook page, and provide an overview of the District's new College and Career Readiness Platform: School Links.

During the event, District staff will lead a presentation on School Links, and the various ways it can help middle and high school students learn about potential career options, explore and apply to colleges, as well as find entry level career opportunities. 

Families will have the opportunity to ask questions at the end of the presentation. Anyone with questions ahead of the event can contact [email protected] for more information. 

El Distrito 60 será anfitrión de su próximo evento del Instituto de la Familia en Facebook Live el próximo jueves, 8 de septiembre. El evento comenzará a las 6 p.m. en la página de Facebook del Distrito, y proporcionará un resumen de la nueva Plataforma de Preparación Universitaria y Carreras del Distrito: School Links.

Durante el evento, el personal del Distrito realizará una presentación sobre School Links, y las varias maneras en que puede ayudar a los estudiantes de la escuela intermedia y secundaria a aprender sobre las posibles opciones de carrera, explorar y aplicar a las universidades, así como encontrar oportunidades de carrera de nivel de entrada.
