3RD GRADE
Reading: we will begin our new CLKA unit which is: light and sound. they will be learning about shadows, light, reflections, photography and more. Math: Students will be working on comparing fractions and finding the area and perimeter of a shape.

4TH GRADE
Reading: students are learning tools and strategies for approaching poetry. they will read and interpret both formal and free verse poems. They will also opportunities to create poems themselves.
Math: students read, write, and represent decimals through thousandths in a variety of ways. They are also introduced to the first quadrant of the coordinate grid,

5TH GRADE
Reading: students are learning about classical literature with the don quijote novel. Focus is on character development and story elements. Math: students are working on decimals, percentages, and graphs.

As the weather gets colder, please ensure that your student is dressed appropriately.
Chromebooks should be charged daily at home.
