● April 7: Institute Day- No School

● Wednesday, April 9: IAR testing begins

● April 10, 15, 22: Parent Registration Support 4:30-6:30

● April 16: Late Start School starts @ 11:05

● April 18: No School- Good Friday


Reminders

IAR testing begins April 9th.

● Make sure your child gets enough sleep, especially the night before the test.

● A nutritious breakfast can help your child nourish their brain and give them the energy they need to focus during the test.

● Encourage your child to do their best.

● Provide support and encouragement.

● Make sure your child's Chromebook is fully charged.


Learning Focus


Math-Unit 7 :

In this unit, students formalize their understanding of multiplying a fraction by a whole number and use their knowledge to solve problems in real-world scenarios.


Reading- UNIT 7:

The Road to Independence focuses on important events and people that led to the colonists’ decision to declare independence from the British government. Students will examine the sequence of events leading to the American Revolution and what happened during the war itself. Students will also read two literary selections about the time period.
