Our District's Diverse Learner Department will host two informational presentations this month to help parents familiarize themselves with special education.
Presentations will be delivered in both Spanish and English, with the Spanish session taking place on Thursday, March 10, at 7:30 p.m. and the English presentation following on Tuesday, March 15, at 6:30 p.m. Links to both meetings can be found below:

The presentation is a good opportunity for families new to the District to get a comprehensive overview of special education, and give experienced DL families a refresher.
Additionally, the DL department will host a Spanish Transition Presentation on March 14 on Zoom. The event will focus on helping families prepare their child to make the transition after high school.
