Waukegan Community Unit School District # 60 is inviting its community to experience a taste of Jewish tradition during its Hanukkah Celebration later this month.

The celebration will take place Tuesday, November 30 from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. at North Elementary School. During the event, families will have the opportunity to make traditional potato pancakes (latkes), as well as play dreidel, win chocolate gelt and create their own menorahs.

Attendees of the event will be asked to follow the District's Health and Safety protocols, which requires visitors to wear masks and practice physical distancing while in the building.
