Parents are invited to participate in District 60’s second Black Parent Network (BPN) meeting at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, December 1 at Clearview Elementary School. During the meeting, families will have the opportunity to learn more about the BPN’s mission and resources, as well as connect with other WPS60 families.

Anyone interested in attending the meeting, or joining the BPN, is encouraged to complete this sign up form ahead of the event.

The intention of the Black Parent Network is to help stakeholders build rapport with Black and African American families to encourage trust and relationships with the goal of fostering school success from PreK to graduation. The BPN will promote cultural bridges between Waukegan Public Schools, Black and African American students, guardians, parents, and their families.

Attendees of the event will be asked to follow the District's Health and Safety protocols, which requires visitors to wear masks and practice physical distancing while in the building.
