Notice of May 18 Board Committee Meetings

The monthly Operational Services & Student Achievement committee meetings of the Board of Education will be held on Tuesday, May 18, 2021, at 6 p.m. The meeting will be conducted in-person. In an effort to safely accommodate the Board, staff, and members of the public, and to comply with Restore Illinois capacity limits, the meeting will be conducted in the Trapp Auditorium of the Waukegan High School Brookside Campus, 2325 Brookside Avenue.
The meeting will accommodate the Board of Education, Legal Counsel, the Superintendent, the Superintendent’s Cabinet, audio/visual support staff, safety and custodial staff, and 50 additional individuals. The 50 seats will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis. Doors to the Trapp will open 30 minutes before the meeting’s posted start time. All attendees will be asked to follow a six-foot social distancing rule. Attendees will be spaced throughout the auditorium, and people not in the same household will not be permitted to sit in adjoining seats. Additionally, face coverings and completion of a COVID-related symptoms/ exposure checklist will be required of anyone entering the building.
