Waukegan Community Unit School District #60 is excited to announce the winners of its 2021 Middle School Art Show.
The student artwork in this year’s show was created remotely by students during the 2020-2021 school year, and features work from all five WPS60 Middle Schools. The Middle School Art Show is traditionally hosted at the Genesee Theatre. This year’s edition is showcased online. The online gallery is organized by school and grade level, and includes dozens of pieces ranging from pencil and paper work, paintings, graphic art, marker drawings, and more.
There is also the option to view the artwork in a gallery-like virtual exhibition.
“We’re excited to still have the opportunity to display the work of students created during this school year,” said K-12 Fine Arts Coordinator Lori Massimo. “While we are unable to showcase this amazing work as we normally do, it’s still important that we honor the talent and hard work of our student artists.”
The winner of this year’s show can be found below.
