Notice of May 12 Board of Education Meeting

A Regular Meeting of the Board of Education will be held on Tuesday, May 12, 2020, at 7:00 p.m. for Open Session, 5:30 p.m. for Closed Session.
As a result of the Governor’s “Stay at Home” Executive Order, the meeting will be conducted remotely via GoToMeeting. Members of the public can join the meeting from a computer, tablet or smartphone by visiting https://global.gotomeeting.com/join/423225093. There is also an option to dial in using your phone by calling 1 877 568 4106. When prompted, enter the access code: 423-225-093.
The meeting will feature a Public Comment portion. Members of the public wishing to address the Board are asked to sign up prior to the meeting, using the following form: https://forms.gle/XCjVzjTiBABjb3qn9. If you’re having difficulty accessing the form, or if during the course of the meeting you’re having technical difficulties, email [email protected] for assistance. Members of the public may also submit a written public comment to be read into the record by emailing [email protected]. Speakers will be called upon in the order in which they signed up.

Members of the public also have the option of viewing the meeting via monitors in the Lincoln Center Board Room. In order to protect the safety of District staff and the public, the public is strongly encouraged to not physically attend the meeting and to attend and participate in the meeting via the instructions set forth above.
