The event will be held from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Lincoln Center. All Waukegan Public Schools parents are invited to share their stories and engage with other parents as the group explores the complexities of maintaining healthy communication practices with their children.

Promotion Policy and FACE Strategic Plan Presentations

District 60 will be hosting its final in a series of informational presentation this month designed to help parents better understand the district’s new Promotion Policy, as well as the Family and Community Engagement (FACE) department’s new three-year strategic plan.  The last session, which will be held Wednesday, October 16 at 11 a.m. at the Waukegan Public Library, is open to the community and will provide separate, in-depth, overviews of the Promotion Policy and the FACE strategic plan, and how both will affect students and parents.

WPS60 Parent Tech Talk

Any parents needing assistance learning how to use the District’s Parent Portal are invited to the Computer Classroom of the Waukegan Public Library for a general presentation. The presentation will take place Wednesday, October 23, from 5 p.m. to  6 p.m., and parents will have an opportunity to have questions answered at the conclusion of the presentation. Free school supplies will be provided to those who register, and activities will be available for all children.
